[Resolved] SBI Cards — Fraudulent withdrawal from SBI credit card
Today 23/11/2015, I received call from phone no [protected] saying that they were calling from SBI cards and asked for my card details saying that a new card will be issued for which they need to do IVR authentication with these details to be given by me. I gave all details but I refused to give the three digit number behind the card. I thought the call was genuine when I received OTP for IVR authentication by SMS. Then they called and said that there were points to my credit on the old card which they will transfer to the new card and asked me to share the OPTs that will be generated. I got five OTPs which I gave them, but this actually sent Rs.2000/- four times to some site PayU-www.oxigenwallet.GURHR IN and Rs.2, 500/- once to PayU-SBIPG IN. In all Rs.10, 500/- has been debited on my card today which I did not intend to do. This is a clear case of fraud and I request you to reverse these debits and investigate the matter so that it does not repeat with anyone else. Was this information helpful?
