[Resolved] SBI — credit card | |||
I Bhavya Sukhija had a credit card of SBI. I was using this card from 6-7 years. Due to financial problems I was not able to make full outstanding payment so I request for settlement to SBI card in November 2017. My Card limit was 30000 and it was used full. I have also told them to block the card permanently. SBI agreed for the settlement but for Rs.30000. They remitted my interest. They given me a settlement letter in November 2017. I was liable to pay 30000. I have given them Rs 2000 cash on 17/11/17 and a cheque of Rs 8000 of current date and 2 post dated cheques of rs. 10000 each for 10/12/17 and 10/01/18. Due to some reason my cheques got bounced. I have called SBI and asked that can I make cash or online payment against bounced cheques so that my settlement will not become void. I have called because I have lost my settlement letter so I want to confirm. The executive on customer care(IVR recording) said that my last date of settlement was 25 January 2018 and I have to pay the remaining settlement amount on or before 25/01/2018. I have called 3-4 times to confirm again and again and always I got the same answer. They have not told me that I have to make payment in 3 parts only.They only told me to make the payment on or before 25/01/2018 So I have paid cash of Rs. 5000 on 7/12/2017, Rs 13000 through paynet(SBI instant online payment portal) on 6/1/2018 and Rs.10000 again through paynet on 25/01/2018. The total becomes 30000. I have all the SMSs which I received from SBI for acknowledgement of payment with date. I have done all the payment. But when I asked for the NOC, they said I will get it after 45 days. I wait for that. But in between I was getting SMS and e-statement on mail for outstanding payment. I didn't get it. Till March end I have not got a single call from SBI for outstanding payment. But when I raised a complaint for SMS and emails on customer care on 14/3/18 they said my settlement has been null and void. I have discussed all the matter on customer care and raised so many complaints but they are not ready to accept their mistake that their own executives told me to make the payment before or on 25/01/2018. The talk with the executives has been recorded in IVR. So there is a full proof. I have done all the payment on time. I will not pay anymore.
