I am writing this after continuous follow up on the below trailing e-mail chain related to fraud case that happened via SBI
(Govindpur branch)fraudulent account. Police has already issued an authorisation letter to this branch.
I would request the branch manager again after several follow up to respond to the below trailing email with immediate
action.

Thanks for the response.
Few corrections in the statement you made:
First thing, the fraudulent bank account branch is in Govindpur Coliery, Dhanbad
and not Patna.
Secondly, there has been no mention of OTP ever.
I hope you have shared the police Authorization Letter (in the format requested by
you) to the correct branch.
Please loop in the BM of Govindpur branch so that we can get a confirmation if
the letter has been received by them.

account of the fraudsters does not belong to our branch. It belongs
to Govindpur Branch in Patna. Hence, we have no right to debit
account of non - home branch customer. We have forwarded your
mail to the concerned branch.
Moreover, Madam, your account is in ICICI Bank and the fraudsters
account is in other branch of SBI. Last time, when you approached
us stating that you have shared your OTP with the fraudster and
when you gave us the details of the accounts ( you found through
some sources ), we have put hold on both the accounts of Rs
65, 000/- on 08/10/2020 ( the day you gave us request ).
Also we have requested you to follow up with Bihar Branch along

I would like to brief you regarding the fraudulent
transaction that happened from my ICICI BANK
account[protected] on 7th Oct ‘20 .
My hard-earned money was moved to an
unknown paytm account Number [protected].
I lodged a complaint on the same day to the
nearest Kasarvadavli, Thane police station. The
Police acted promptly and on 8th oct morning the
police were able to trace that the fund has been
moved from the mentioned paytm account to
multiple bank accounts - Two of them were in
State Bank of India (Ac
no [protected] and [protected]).
As instructed & guided by local police I went to
the SBI nearest branch on (8th Oct 2020 )@

the help of police complaint and account details

of the fraudster shard by them, I request blocking
of the mentioned account. Following which the
Police handed over the authorisation letter based
on desired format proposed by BM of SBI
hiranandani estate branch[Name – Nupur
Samantoroy, email id –
nupur.[protected]@sbi.co.in] for releasing the
fund to my account, however that has not been
done even till date (15/02/2021).
I have also lodged complaint with cybercrime
dept.
This is completely unacceptable from SBI BM
Thane that even after all the required legal
documents are in place, why has my money still
not returned to me and why is the BM of SBI
Thane failing to acknowledge and understand
the severity of this issue.
Requesting SBI team to act promptly, release the
hold from the mentioned SBI bank account
numbers and transfer the funds back to my
account.

no [protected] and [protected] . As
instructed & Guided by local police I Went to
the SBI nearest branch on (8th Oct 2020 )@
Hiranandani Estate Thane West, Mumbai and
with the help of police complaint and
subsequent msg received by police containing
account details of the fraudster I blocked the
mentioned account. (Acknowledgement copy
of SBI bank officer attached on 8th oct 2020
in zip file)
Later I have also submitted a letter received
from Kasarvadavli police station, Thane dated
14th oct 2020 regarding details being asked by
police about the mentioned account and
confirmation on the blocking of the said
account.(copy attached in zip file).
I have also lodged a complaint with Cyber crime
dept (complaint copy attached in zip file )
You are requested to provide the available
details pertaining to the mentioned accounts as
required by authorities at the earliest to the
email id mentioned in the police letter. Please
keep us in loop.
We have got the available details from other
banks already, awaiting details from your end.

regard.
