Shatabdi Travels — Ticket Cancellation Complaint - Kanpur to Indore Journey

Hello Team,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding a recent booking experience with your company.

On 02 September 2023, I booked tickets for a journey from Kanpur to Indore with Shatabdi Bus Express Pvt. Ltd. My anticipation for a smooth and comfortable travel experience was met with great disappointment when, just four hours before the scheduled departure, I received a call from your company notifying me of the cancellation of my ticket. This abrupt and last-minute cancellation is highly inconvenient and reflects poorly on the professionalism and reliability of your service.

I am compelled to express my strong dissatisfaction with this situation. I had made this reservation well in advance, and this sudden cancellation has caused significant disruption to my travel plans. What exacerbates the issue is that your proposed solution, offering an upper seat on the next day's bus, is entirely impractical for my family, especially considering the age of my guardian who is over 80 years old, and me and my wife who are in 50s.

Furthermore, when I requested a refund for the cancelled tickets, I was informed that I would need to visit your office in person to initiate the refund process. egrettably, your travel office is located a considerable distance from my residence, making it virtually impossible for anyone in my family to make the trip to your office.

Also, the staff of the office was very very unsupportive and rude. Their behavior completely pissed me off.
When said we'll do complaint against you, he said do it to whomsoever you want to, he doesn't care.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but I am disappointed by the lack of a customer-oriented solution that considers our genuine inconvenience and the difficulties we are facing.

I hereby request your immediate attention and assistance in resolving this matter expeditiously. We would greatly appreciate a resolution that either facilitates our travel as originally planned or provides a fair and timely refund.

Thank you for your attention to this formal complaint, and I look forward to a swift and satisfactory action against this type of behavior.
