On 3rd Jul 2020, we booked a 3bhk flat under shriram properties in sarjapur chirping wood project that is 1st room in 13th floor of tower 5 and we were asked to pay 10% token money as booking amount which was 1 lakh INR. We paid the same but due to certain unfavourable conditions we decided we cannot go ahead with this property. Hence we visited the marketing office in Chirping woods Sarjapur on 7th July and found no one. Hence we contacted the sales agents Mr. Matthew and Mr. Ankit over phone and asked for refund. But they denied and told us we had signed an agreement where it was mentioned that the token amount is forfeited amount and non-refundable. When we asked for the agreement paper, they didnot provide the document and started making excuses. They started forcing us to take that property but when we didnot agree they blocked our contact and make themselves unreachable so that we could not claim our refund and the document as well. Thereafter we contacted customer care and informed about this scenario and also dropped email with details to [protected]@shriramproperties.com but all in vain. We still want refund of 1 Lakh INR alongwith the interest because whatever they had done is not at all ethical. We would also expect severe punishment against those two sales persons Matthew and Ankit as they have played with our trust and have not provided us our rightful claim as well as our document.
