South Delhi Municipal Corporation — Blockage of storm water drains

I am the resident of Gali No.2, Ekta Vihar, Jaitpur Extension, New Delhi - 110044 (Central Zone). The open storm water drains of the gali are linked to the main sewerlines connected to a big nalla. For the last fortnight, due to blockage in the pipe linked to the to sewer, there is no disposal of the water in the drains. Thus, the drains are over-flowing on the street and there is hardly any passage left for the residents to move. Due to this, foul smell is prevailing and there is every apprehension of outbreak of epidemic in the area. The matter has been brought to the notice of the concerned authorities of SDMC, but no action whatsoever has been taken as yet. The residents are living in a very pathetic and unhygienic conditions.
