Southern Railway — unwanted distance from ticket counter to train in arakkonam

Dear sir,

There to around 1km distance we have to walk from ticket counter to get into the train. Arakkonam - vellore passenger train stoping on west end of platform which is too much distance from arakkonam main station. Almost we are walking near to melpakkam singal. Will you please explain how a physically challenged or aged persons can able to get the train even most of the platform are free near to main block, why the train stoping at the edge of another end. Its almost 1 killometer walkable distance we are covering almost 20 minutes walk from a ticket counter to the train. I request gm sir of southern railway get a ticket and walk and get the train for a day to know the pain of travel. Kindly requesting and please you to do the needful for all the passagers who travelling in the train. Requesting sr railway board how a physically challenged person will get the specific train. And please mention what measures and features currently providing for the passengers.
