I got my Double Marker pregnancy test done via SRL lab who gave wrong report of existing risk as per the test. The journey with SRL after that has been pathetic. Had to follow up multiple times to get the report corrected. When got no positive response we went ahead with NIPT test as suggested by doctor after looking at the SRL report. The NIPT report however confirmed of no risk in pregnancy and also SRL accepted of the mistake made by them. Again after hundreds of followups was able to get my case looked at by Prachi Kaneri, Executive - Customer Care from Goregaon(W) Mumbai location. As she mentioned she followed up with concerned team and made them agree to refund the NIPT charges Rs. 14000. We were asked to provide cancelled cheque to process the refund, after which Prachi completely disappeared from the scene. Neither she is responding to emails nor anyone is able to arrange a callback from her or her department. Since the only channel for customers to reach SRL is the customer care department, have been calling numerous times only to repeat the story to every single agent that picks the call each time and get an assurance of callback from Prachi or her department.
Never expected this kind of irresponsible and totally unprofessional behavior from a reputed lab like SRL. This incident has made me lose faith in the lab and also tell everyone I know of not to go to SRL.
I am expecting a prompt refund as promised on the account details already received. I will be left with no other option but to take up this issue legally if this is again getting delayed Was this information helpful? |
