I am deeply anguished as an Indian Air Force veteran that the anchor of Star Vijay TV program 'Connections' (17 May 2015 1300 hrs) chose to wear a costume mimicking the uniform jacket of Army Officers. The service medals and rank insignia are earned after years of toil and sacrifices for the nation. Anchors in air conditioned studios have no right whatsoever to mess around in uniform meant for nobler professions. Please take up this matter that is an insult to armed forces personnel.
