Hi my name is Prabhu Ganpathy and i'm from chennai. I'm using SBI advantage plus credit card, i got this card against Fixed Deposit(Rs. 25000) which i've been paying a EMI of Rs.2500 every month. Now that my last EMI payment has been charged, i tried to reach the customer care to guide me on releasing it but couldn't get through, CALL 1 - waited for 10 minutes, someone attended when i started to talk about my issue the call has been transferred to feedback CALL 2 - waited for 12 minutes again after giving all the details to the stimulated voice, finally a women named 'Prashanti' took the call and i told her my issue, she said that i need to cancel my card in order to get my FD (which wasn't told to me while getting the card) she said that the total amount due of the card will be deducted and the remains will be given to me, and i accepted. My card's Total Amount Due is Rs.19157.58 but the Total Outstanding is Rs. 21971.58, when asked the executive about this she questioned me whether i got any loan? I replied saying nothing and how is the total outstanding showing more compared the total amount due? She had put me on hold and vanished, I was waiting for about 20 minutes but no one has cared to clear my doubt. She or the previous person who had took my call didn't even listen to me properly. I know that getting a line to SBI customer care executive is tough but never expected them to treat their customers this way. Here, i've attached my call log screenshot.
