Hi Sir, I am Sudhindra and yesterday at 12:50PM(Thursday 17th Dec 2015) received a spurious call like others where in the fraudsters mentioned that they are calling from SBI Head department from Delhi Office. They started with conversation they are going to block my credit card and going to issue a new credit card as per the RBI guide lines. As they told as per the RBI guide lines they are going to renewal my credit card with new features where my photo will be present in credit card and other credit card features will be normal like old credit card. As they mentioned that SBI bank will going to give 8000 bonus points for choosing the new credit cards and they are going to redeem in SALEMALL_EPAYKERELA to purchase the free gift as my old card points got expired for not redeeming the points so they redeemed with my new credit card and mentioned that i am not going to pay any money from SBI credit card and SBI will going to pay to the merchant and 1 point is equal to 1rs. For my details verification they asked few security questions as normal and i have provided the details and after that they deducted the amount and did the transaction of 7888/- Rs from my credit card. They provided one number +91 [protected] which they have called me. if i have any quires related to the transactions and status they mentioned to reach this number. The representative names are like this 1. Swathi 2. Kabhir After immediately i called to Credit card customer care depart and reported the fraud happened with me and blocked the card and raised the new service request to revert the money by blocking the transaction which they did. Transaction details are as follows.. 17/12/2015 Salemall_EPayKerela SBIPG IN 7, 888Rs Please find the service ticket details which i have raised by the help of customer care department. 1-[protected] Please check the security system in SBI cards looks like some hacking happened and the fruders are easily getting the actual users information with card numbers exactly. My problem got resolved and i did the below steps.. 1. Block ur card immediately by calling customer care which is present behind ur card. 2.call to sbi care and tell them to block credit card and block that particular transaction immediately. 3.Raise complaint in the nearest police complaint. ( this will help in catching frauds) i raised complaint. 4. Don't share cvv otp and card number to anyone. 5. Send email to sbi email id you can find in sbi card website. Send email to feedback sbi and nodal officer and one more is there u can find in website in contact option...
