[Resolved] State Bank Of India [SBI] — harassment by sbi credit card collection calling | |||
My father has defaulted on his credit card due to some financial problems. The collection agents called my father, and spoke very rudely to him. He has high bp and got very aggravated by their behaviour after which he didn't receive a few of their calls. Then they collected my number from somewhere and called me. I assured them that we will pay it back as soon as possible. We paid back as much as we could (Outstanding amount paid) over three days but they still keep calling and say that we have no intention to pay. I'm not a co-applicant but the collection agents are calling me and my father continuously and speaking improperly. They crossed the line when they called my office staff and revealed my private information regarding my father's loans to them to ruin my reputation at my workplace. I have read your collection policies and i've learned that they have no right to do that as i'm not a co-applicant. I want this matter investigated and strict action to be taken on those collection agents, whose calls i've recorded for proof. One of them who had the worst behaviour said that his name is om saxena.
