I had applied (Application no.[protected] for sbi prime credit card (Mastercard variant) and clearly stated to the executive that i want only the mastercard variant. However, they wrongly processed for visa card which i came to during the two verification calls. The executive in this call asked me to contact customer care.
So i immediately called the customer care (Interaction id - 1-[protected]) and requested them that wrong card is being processed. He said that nothing can be done now and i will have to cancel my application. I asked him to do that.
Despite this, the application was not cancelled. So i again called the customer care (Interaction id - 1-[protected]) to cancel the application. Again my request was taken down but the application was still not stopped.
Next i mailed to the customer care and they replied that my request has been taken down and they will look into it. I mailed them atleast 5-6 times (Interaction ids - 1-[protected], 1-[protected]) and even escalated the issue to the nodal officer.
Despite, so many attempts to cancel and request for the right card, they despatched the wrong credit card to my residential address. I am still continuing to pursue them to either surrender the card or send the right card.
I am stuck with the wrong card now and this card has annual fees. If i disagree to pay the fees they will harrass me with their collection agents. Please help. Was this information helpful? |
