Santhosh (call himself as Credit Card Manager- location Bangalore; unsure of exact branch location) was chasing to convince for SimplySave credit card but this card was not meeting my requirements (I browsed its details on Sbi website too)- I wanted a card with free access to domestic and international lounges since I am a frequent flyer. He promised me that card application would come to his desk and he has already these benefits to the card that would be issued for me; along with that credit limit for that card would be more than 3 lac. Though I denied for this card when I noticed these benefits are not mentioned in the verification call I received in first time.
Then he called me to convince again with same fake promises and ensured before punching the card he would give me a formal email to confirm the mentioned benefits but nothing like that happened.
And he asked me to lie during confirmation call that I agree for whatever they are mentioning (later he would add all the benefits that I require while approving the card application) and even the documents that I had to provide them for credit card were sent via email (to email id sales.[protected]@teamlease.com on Aug 10, 2019)- this also he asked me not to inform that none visited/collected documents in person.
Now I have received the card it doesn't have Any kind of lounge access mentioned and even the credit limit is around 1lac.
I would like to escalate it to higher management about the fake promises that they do to issue a credit card and also want to cancel the card. It also has a joining fees which I would not like to pay since it doesn't have benefits that I had agreed upon and they might receive some commission on the credit cards issued. But thats not fair to deal with Customers. Was this information helpful? |
