I went to medical shop for purchasing medicine on 28 June 2023 at MedPlus Pharmacy, Kumbakonam. After swiping my debit card for amount 1208 via 1st POS machine, the shop did not got any receipt from bank. So they tried via 2nd POS machine and this time he got receipt as well as I got SMS for transaction notification. After a day, when I checked the transaction entry, I could see 2 entries for amount Rs 1208 on the same day for the same purchase. When checked with Medplus pharmacy, they said they never received any additional amount from SBI and money should be withheld in SBI itself. On raising complaint with SBI with the number[protected], the complaint was closed stating "Your Complaint has been routed to PAYMENT SYSTEMS GROUP - DAU (PSG-DAU) for immediate redressal" but so far no reimbursement happened.
