I had purchased a policy Id. 1220109 on 27/03/2015 from Sterling Holidays Lucknow Branch from their Volkswagen Counter Gwalior under certain Understanding signed between the above mentioned parties (between myself and Sterling Holidays). Due to certain financial constraints I found in the first week of April itself that it is not feasible for me to honour the same.I contacted SH to cancel the same as per the clause 12 which assures 75% refund of admission fee/Down Payment (as per clause 1 and 12 o[censored]nderstating) on cancellation within 11-60 days of cancellation. Following points are noteworthy:1. I filed for cancellation in about 02 weeks’ time where the policy itself has not commenced as well as I have received no confirmation or policy documents from the company.2. The cancellation filed is as per the agreement/understanding signed.3. I was told at the time of signing the same that the policy can be cancelled at any time with refund carrying the amount that has not been used… my policy has not yet started forget the use.
Now after three weeks the company has still not come out of their summer hibernation is not answering whether they intend to cancel the policy or what is the decision that they have taken. Early today when I called them they turned me around with one number. When i called the number I was turned around again that Shashank Mishra dealing with my case is out of station.
Now what the service a company will provide which a customer has to find out first and then keep reminding and asking about his issues. Was this information helpful? |
