On may 24, 2016, i registered with explore it inc. To avail job placement services.
My registration formalities were handled by kavya. She asked me to pay an initial amount, $200 (Total fee $600) to start the job placement procedure and then pay the rest ($400) once i am placed on a job.
However, the entire amount would be refunded after 6 months of placement.

Till date, i have neither received any interview calls nor placed on a project/job through explore it.
Hence, i wanted to end this deal on a good note and requested them to refund my amount. Although the team agreed to refund the amount on the call, but they refused to send me an email stating the same.

Post this discussion, it had become extremely difficult to communicate with the company’s employees.
Kavya was never available to take my calls and neither acknowledge or respond to my emails. I had to call a zillion times, use different mobile numbers to catch hold of her or another associates.
After a lot of debate, persuasion and explanation harika gave me her supervisor’s number, ajay.
Ajay agreed to refund my amount but again, refused to commit the same through email saying that he is not authorized to send out such emails. When i asked him to give me his official email id so that i can email him the details of our discussion, he refused saying he is not allowed to share his official email id with anyone. Later, another associate, ravikanth, conveyed a message that the accounts department is not willing to refund the amount due to company policies.

Suddenly, the accounts department is in the picture out of no-where. Why was the accounts department not involved when i was making a payment? I requested to speak with accounts team for which i was given the same excuse “not authorized to do so”.

If i had failed to clear interviews arranged through this consultancy, then it would be illogical and baseless on my part to put forth this request. But we never got that far since registration. Then, what services have i received/benefited from the amount paid? The team has no explanation for this and i have no way to deal with such unethical and unprofessional people. Hence, i request you to intervene and resolve this issue.

I paid an amount to be placed on a job through a so-called reputed staffing company. Now, that the staffing company has failed to deliver the promised services, i demand my money back.
