That olden days have gone. before going to Sundaram Medical Foundation Hospital kindly confirm the fees and charges. six months before for emergency consultation and admission, they charged only rs.1000 below including dr fees, bed charges, blood test, etc. but two months back I had gone to SMF Ambattur for my foot pain consultation. i was asked to their hospital in the name of appointment and testing etc. for five days and all together they charged rs.15000 and told me you are perfectly alright if you have pain take crocin. i was happy. but the charge for consultation was rs.800 and after two days again the charge was rs.450. i was asked to consult three doctors. even though i was a retired person and really shocked with this hospital. this was my very bad experience with SMF. also i wish to specify if you go to even Apollo, or Vijaya hospital the charges will be definitely lower. they won't charge for review a second time within a week. also, lab charges are very high.
if you check the website they have mentioned no profit no gain and immediate or earlier detection as their aim and motto. i spoke with the admin and sent mail. all became waste. I have spent rs. 2000 each side rs.200 and per day rs.400 for the auto fare as I was asked five times to come to the hospital in the name of checking. Was this information helpful? |
