Tata Medical Centre Kolkata — Poor medical and non medical services | |||||
Dear Readers ' Please read my comments very carefully if you are planning to take your near ones to TATA medical centre, Rajarhat Kolkata than think twice for their life before taking decession. I did blunder mistake advising my family members to take My Father in law to TMC kolkata for surgery, he underwent surgery under Dr Kapila Manikantan then it was cardiac arrest but after than the real poor medical facility came into real ground, there is cardiologist not any neurologist available to cater emergency situation, they had tie ups with visiting consultants, in my case the cardiologist visited after one day of cardiac arrest by then the condition has worsen like anything, Neurologist made visit after 3 days, everytime whenever we ask they had standard answer that we are giving medicines as per discussion over phone, since my patient was in ICU so we were unable to see him except visiting hours, at last we took LAMA and took him to home town as we could see they were doing nothing just passing time keeping in ventilator and increasing their bill amount. I have lost my father in law which will hurt me for whole life. I work in New delhi in a very prestigious hospital where i can see the clear difference of the level of service ( Medical + Non Medical) compromised. Its complete dark spot in the name of TATA group. never mistake to compare with Mumbai TATA Medical Centre, this is bad hospital, I would suggest to go to any multiplicity hospital than coming here and risk your money and life. This hospital is nothing but a place with money-making agenda under the brand name of Noble TATA. The doctors, nurses are rude and have attitude issues. The security guards in fact have more temper than the doctors. The staff is low quality and handle the situations poorly.
The doctors always try to jack up the costs by sending you for expensive tests and meds.
If you visit in emergencies with side effects: They make sure to put a hole in your pocket. Even the smallest of symptoms will be attended by junior doctor who makes wrong prescriptions.
The higher management does take any necessary steps. Cleanliness is an issue. The hospital charges you thousands of money for tests and scans but there are uncleaned toilets and even a lack of hand washes and sanitizers, during covid times even.
Whenever you try to reach your doctor in case of issues or clarifications, the doctor suggests visiting ER of any other hospital or Tata Medical ER.
The list of complaints goes on and is never-ending.
And this is under a Private scheme where we are paying almost three times more than general patients.

all patient party's daughters personally be aware of oncology surgeon dr. kapila manikantan. he is not legally single, although he do not reveal this at the time of making relationship and within sometimes when he is charged with serious question then he reveals the truth and runs away without saying a word and does not show any gut to face the strict words. he had been undergoing a below standard legal tie and for whatsoever reasons he had been continuing that, that's his matter but the way he had been playing with society's daughters and harassing disregarding society's daughters, being a strong women I threatened him enough and I took few actions and will take actions in future too with my ways but my responsibility goes to spread awareness among others, so that our healthy society's daughters should not face the same as I faced, only because of society's such doctor's below standard damaged marital tie which neither good for them nor good for heathy society. Just shared my personal experience here. he is a rascal pervert and most below standard cheap medical professional.
