The complainant has applied to the Kerala State Electricity Board for installation of 2 roof top solar powerplants of 3KWH each and selected TATA power as the facilitator for the project. Accordingly technicians from M/s Brillo Solutions Trivandrum, agents of TATA Power, visited the site in Jan.2022. When I enquired with M/s Brillo about the progress of the work in Feb.2022 it was told that material requisition has been sent to the company's Bangalore office and the supply is pending. Later the the initial plan was revised to have only one plant of 5 KWH capacity and again a survey was conducted by the agency in the first week of March 2022 and material requisition sent to Bangalore. Even after a long period, the material supply from TATA Power Bangalore is pending. The web page of M/s Kondaas, Coimbatore, who provides similar service, the process chart shows, for solar on grid plant, material delivery on the 8th day of Enquiry . It is feared that the delay in material supply is due to diversion of materials in favour of clients jumping the Queue. Early intervention in the matter is solicited. Please supervise the installation as we encountered a big problem with many of the panels having got damaged due to the dealer people handling (even standing on the panels) the panels without any care. Casual labourers from the locality were bought to install the panels in the roof resulting in all the issues and if we had not raised a hue and cry on the installation, the dealer would have installed the panels as it is and gone. No supervision by the dealer nor by Tata Power people due to the overwhelming orders they have received and manpower shortage.
Attached photos show how the dealer persons (don't care about their dress !!!) are handling our panels. The sorry part is that we don't see the damages unless you climb up the roof and check, which in many cases are not possible.
