The TV screen went black and none of the "troubleshooting tips" resolved the issue. It seems that, based on thousands of other consumer complaints, this is a common issue with TCL Roku products, which primarily happens AFTER the 1-year warranty expires. I spoke with a TCL "technician" but he refused to assist because he claimed the product was outside of the warranty period. It was manufactured in June 2021, purchased in August of 2021, and the problem arose out of nowhere on Dec 23, 2022.
Roku and TCL are aware of this issue but continue to manufacture products with defective OS, backlights, LED Lights, and overall programming issues. The matter should be investigated by the US Consumer Protection Agency. Was this information helpful? |
