TCL — very poor customer care and response - have failed to give the agreed warranty

I had bought a 48 inches tv tcl 121.92cm c48p1fs full hd curved led tv from amazon 0n 27th february to gift it to my sister. Thus was the first led tv at my house and we bought after lot of discussion and survey and finally selected the tcl brand.

7 months down the line i got lines insides the tv and only half portion is visible.

I raised complaint with complaint no: 5585201 last month and the technician visited and there were no response post that..

Post that when we tried contacting the service person he said that is external damage.. But there is no damage at all.. I can pack the tv and sent to whichever address you want for investigation or you can send some other technician..

He also said if you pay 80% if the tv cost we can repair it..

I called the call center and they said there is no update and they gave a technical head number to discuss and there is no response from him too

I was shocked at the response.. With lots of difficulty we bought this tv and again 80% to be paid???

I have personally seen the tv and there is no damage externally.. It is easy to blame the customer and put the onus on us.. We know how to operate and take care of the asset which we have bought in emi..

I have kept on follow up further but no response.

Don't buy tcl products it is waste of our money and they don't care after the sell the products
