PLEASE CONSIDER THIS COMPLAINT AS A WARNING TOO.
I had booked a ride & I had submitted the payment method as UPI as provided by the app & our ride was confirmed with payment method as UPI.
When the ride ended, the Driver said that he would be accepting Cash as payment method instead o[censored]PI, he had LIED us saying that payment option o[censored]PI is not available at his end, thus we paid via Cash.
The Driver had CHEATED us by not updating the payment status as payment received, thus the app shows as payment pending instead of payment received.
The Driver has committed a THEFT very cleverly by insisting us to pay via cash, since payment via cash cannot be traced / proved.
I assume that this SCAM can be at a higher level if the Company itself is involved in this THEFT, I hope the company is not at this cheap standard that they too are involved in it at higher scale.
It shall be my ADVISE that the company doesn't keep the payment option as Cash, which can avoid such THEFTS and SCAMS, which can lead to serious reconciliation or accounting issues.
I assume that the same theft has occured with many other customers.
