Hello, i'm vignesh dayalan. I have a renegade commando black - in which i have engine cut off issue. The service people said that it is because of the ecu, which the head office is doing a software remapping in ecu and will be sending it to replace in bikes. The madras um branch head - gopinath, told me this on february 2019. It is june 2019 now, still they are saying the part has been sent to remapping and not yet dispatched. Pathetic. Everyweek i used to call them and ask the status, they will say the same reason "remapped ecu has not yet arrived." i called mallikarjun - bangalore um on may 2019, he also said that he will talk to the headoffice regarding the dispatch. Even today after multiple calls, finally madras um took my phone call and updated the same status. Order is not yet delivered.
Um motors, please send a remapped ecu and a chain guard for my renegade commando black asap.
Due to this engine cutoff issue, i had to change oneway clutch in my bike which costed rs1000. Was this information helpful? |
Santosh here, And what I could guess about your situation, that Company is going to shut in India. Your problem is genuine and why they are getting delayed is the reason which I am guessing above. I am in Lucknow and UM Lucknow is closed here and nobody is responding to us as well. We have complained too much directly to the company and in fact to UM Global, but unfortunately, no response we have received. Just check the website UML India is now defunct. I have also complained to consumer forum this month regarding this. Just be aware of the further action o[censored]M in India.
