University Grants Commission — regarding the minimum qualification of assistant prof
Dear authority, I want to ask a question that for net exam post graduation marks with 55% is the criteria, for phd entrance exam, pg exams with 55% or somewhere net/ jrf is needed. But for the recruitment process of assistant professor, the colleges and university make the criteria of graduation marks as well as the higher secondary and senior secondary marks are get counted just to apply for the post. I want to ask if for net and phd, the graduation marks are not considered, so why for the application of the assistant professor. If we already know that it will get counted, why do we get admission to phd, and what is the benefit to clear that net exam. Why the pg marks, with phd and net are not sufficient. Please do consider Swati soam Central university of haryana Swatisingh. [protected]@gmail.com Was this information helpful?
