UPSRTC — Misguidance and not being allowed to board the bus

I had booked two tickets (for me and my daughter) in AC sleeper volvo from Haridwar to Lucknow through the upsrtc website for 18 June 2022 (seat no- 7, 8). I had to travel with a three year old vaccinated dog. As no information with respect to rules regarding carrying pets was mentioned on the upsrtc website, I met the station master Mr. Sushil Pandey at Haridwar. He guided me that I had to pay a nominal charge to carry my pet and there will be problem as my dog was vaccinated. But on the day of travel, the driver, Mr Raj Shekar Yadav and the conductor did not let me board the bus. They told us that the station master had misinformed us and that the higher authorities such as regional manager had ordered to not let us board the bus and that our tickets would be cancelled officially at the RM's end and the money would be refunded. And the other people those who did not have tickets were allowed to enter in the bus and were allowed to sit on my seat. My number, which was used to book the ticket was also noted and I was told that I will get the refund soon. It seems to me that upsrtc/driver/conductor/station master used this situation to earn extra money by letting other people sit on these seats that became vacant as I was not allowed to board. I request the authorities to provide the refund at the earliest and take strict action against those misguiding travellers.
