I am Shailaja Ashok, writing this email to you after several conversations with your tele-verification team and sales executives.
On 15th March 2021, your sales executives - Prajwal K P & Mohammed Irshad visited our home and explained all the services & the membership plans that you offer with regards to travel and accommodation. The package initially approached by them was for INR 2, 00, 000, we told them we aren't interested and it doesn't fit in our budget. They kept on reducing the package amount to 1, 50, 000, 1, 20, 000, 1, 00, 000 and so on. After several discussions, they said that post-approval from our manager, we are offering you a 3-year membership package for INR 60, 000 of which 50% needs to be paid as a down payment and the package would include -
1) 18 nights of domestic/international stay +
2) 4 nights of Kerala stay +
3) Complimentary 3 nights of Maldives stay including flight only upon paying 90, 000 in addition to the 30, 000 downpayment amount.
We didn't agree to this package as well but told them that we have already booked our bus tickets for Kerala tonight(That is on 15th March 2021). Mr. Prajwal & Irshad told - 'We will give you your Kerala stay complimentary if you sign up with us now immediately with a down payment of INR 30, 000'. After several discussions again, Mr.Irshad also showed some of the customer pictures & testimonials to us where they had stayed in Club Mahindra, Munnar & Thekkady and told us that it's a beautiful accommodation and I suggest you both go there. So finally, I and my husband agreed on the package as we would be getting our Kerala stay through Karma resorts and made the payment of INR 30, 000 online. Attaching the payment receipt for your reference. We also got the agreement from them and they told us that tele-verification will be completed by 3 PM today. If the tele-verification fails, the amount will be refunded back to you.
Based on their promises, we departed to Kerala the same day(15th March 2021). Attaching our travel tickets also for your reference. On the day of arrival in Kerala - on 16th March 2021, we approached Prajwal for the accommodation he told us that the tele-verification is not yet completed, I will get it done today and you will get the accommodation from us for Day 2, Day 3 & Day 4 in Kerala. On Day 2 when we called up there was no response. We had to call him several times and then at the end of day 2 he told me that - I am sorry it is not possible to provide accommodation now, you finish your trip and come back I will provide you the stay in the future when you want to travel. That sounded like we had paid money to a fraudster. There was no response at all from Prajwal and Irshad after that. I was shocked to see that there was no ownership from Prajwal or Karma resorts for the commitment given. Even the customer support team was unhelpful while dealing with us, such a worst customer experience I have ever had. Finally, a person from your customer support provided this mail ID and asked us to drop an email.
Because of all the false promises from Mr.Prajwal, we entirely lost our money & happiness in the trip. All the 4 days in Kerala, we were literally hunting for accommodations and we lost our peace of mind and the trip turned out to be a big disaster because of your salesperson. I told him several times that it is a honeymoon trip and we don't want any false promises from your side. But everything went against what Karma Resorts(Prajwal) had committed. There is no single message or call from your team and they are not even responding to our calls. Such a Stellar customer experience! So cruel you people are, how can you dishearten & cheat customers like this to get our hard-earned money.
Please refund the money back on a priority basis otherwise we will have to take it legally and you will face a lot of consequences. Our details are below -
