Myself Vijay Naidu and wife had booked online ticket through Redbus for Shirdi from Indore on Verma Travels for 11/08/2018, departure time 23:20 . L5 and L6, Tic. no. TM[protected], PNR no. TS[protected]OLCY/1791997/Shirdi Sai Baba Exp. The bus was cancelled and we were not intimated and given upper birth backside in another bus of very poor condition with seating class all around. Customer care no.[protected] was called but phone was disconnected abruptly without proper reply or solution. Officer on duty at Chota Gwal Toli then roughly said that Redbus is answerable to my queries as my ticket was booked online. However, after some time when I was adamant on getting my refund, we were adjusted in some other similar bad condition bus of Verma Travels on two different lower births. At around 6:00 am, the bus halted at a roadside dhaba enroute and we were told to refresh ourselves and within 2 to 3 minutes the bus driver and helper intentionally left us behind and went away with our Bag and belongings. After around 10 minutes of panic on the highway, we somehow managed to stop a taxi and paid him Rs. 500/- to chase the bus and managed to catch up around 13-15 kms. away. We ended up reaching the destination 2 and a half hours delayed and as a result could not attend puja at Shani Shignapur which is just unpardonable.
I am a very frequent traveler and always book my tickets online through Redbus and have traveled quite often in Verma Travels...I have never been treated this way ever and am feeling ashamed. Please revert.
Who takes the responsibility and how do I get compensated???
