I had booked flat in vgn stafford project at tirumullaivoyal (ambattur, chennai) in november 2012 and paid all the dues well in advance. first of all vgn did not allow us to see the project for first 1 year to see our house in spite of several requests. they promptly send the mail for demand of money but never listen to our request for alternation citing invalid reasons. more of that vgn has not taken any action on deficiencies given in snag report. vgn had sent us mail stating that they are going to provide us 3 lacs worth gift voucher for modular kitchen and wardrobe. but surprisingly when they actually offered the the model it is not worth even for rs.80000/-. when we asked about the alternation as per our choice, they flatly refused to accept our request. also we have been ill treated by their customer care. the top manager of vgn is rough who is not adehering to the commitment. vgn is forcing us to take the possession illegally without oc, eb & all other common facilities like stp, eb, wtp, approach road, safety and security. vgn has not even bothered to send the correct calculation on interest part towards the delay and also the amount which we paid in excess to vgn before demand. we had asked vgn to pay back the excess amount paid to them by mistake by our financier but vgn refused to give back the money. they have not even bothered to pay interest on the part of money given in excess before demand. the entire project was supposed to be handed over by december 2014 but even after july 2016 has been passed, we do not see any probability of handing over our flats in near future. vgn has not shown any evidence towards ec and verbally being told by the md mr. pratish that the matter is pending with tn state government. there is no evidence shown by mr. pratish to satisfy that ec will be obtained. further other certificates on oc etc depends on ec. i have already paid about rs.60 lacs to vgn towards the full payment but concerned about the handover by vgn. i have lost faith in vgn. i could regain confidence in vgn only if the commitment on all the pending issues is given by the competent person of vgn (i have a doubt whether its md is competent enough to give confidence to its customers). the commitment is required from vgn in form of legal documents by mentioning clear cut timelines for completion, handover in all legal manners. vgn should also given clear calculation of interest towards delays by all means. if vgn fails to do so, it should return all whole money with interest, penalties and compensation towards mental agony faced by me and my wife due to vgn's ill treating attitude. my wife is deeply depressed as she believed in vgn and invested heavily. she has been dreaming since last one year that she could move to the own flat and will reduce the distance for going to her office at avadi. our all dreams have been smashed by vgn by its wrong commitment and over delayed project. like me many are facing the same issues with vgn but all these are going into deaf years of its top management. one way we are paying rent, emi which is overburden for us to manage the finance. we demand immediate handover of our flats with all legal means.
