[Resolved] Videocon D2H — Cheating and committing false deadline for installation | |||
On 9th Sept 2014 around 2.00 pm, I called up Videocon DTH customer care seeking a new connection. As I wanted a connection urgently, I asked if possible to have it installed on the same day. I got a response saying, they confirmation that the connection will be done within 24 hours. Believing the customer care agent's words of installation within 24 hours, I agreed and got my customer id created[protected]. I was given an assurance that the site engineer will contact me soon and will get the installation done with in 24 hours. Even after 20 hours, there was no sign of the engineer. I called the customer care again, at least a dozen times and the answer was the agent will get back to me. After 30 hours, still there was no response. I called the customer care number again a dozen times, but never got a positive response. They are just cheating upon us. My call was hung up at least 3-4 times. Few instances, they kept me on long hold and finally they dropped my call. There were couple of instances where I wanted to raise a complaint and requested complaint number, but I was always given an answer that I will get the complaint number messaged to my phone number which I never received till date. I did not get any call back from the engineer nor the customer care supervisor. Its so frustrating calling again and again ending up cheated by the customer care agents. Request action up on giving false statements to the customer and not keeping them updated of the delay if so happened. Its really frustrating for a person waiting for days for a connection. Its not that Videocon is the only dth provider, we trusted them but they cheated. Akhil Was this information helpful? | |||
