[Resolved]  Videocon D2H — Customer care service doing fraud

Hi,

My Name is Vikky Singh (Videocon D2H Customer ID :[protected].

I have two connection from Videocon D2H, A primary and a mirror, on 25 Feb I got problem in my primary connection that the video was not coming properly and it was showing Signal Lost. So I registered a complaint to videocon D2H customer care regarding my primary connection and they arranged a visit to my place.

Executive arrived and checked the set top box and finally said it needs to be replaced as it has some internal hardware issues so I agreed to him and said to replace the box.

But what I see as He is charging me about 450 rs. of visit + service charge and in replacement of Digital Set Top Box which I bought, he brought me a cheap and local (not even has the branding from videocon) set top box to me.

I rejected that and said him that I will only accept the same digital set top box in replacement of mine, and this is fair. why would I take a set top box which is much cheaper, poor quality and the major thing (not even branded from videocon). I will accept the same model of the set top box in replacement

So what he said to me that this is the only option I have to replace the box and start my connection. as I denied and told him to manage for the same and He just leaved.

Next day I again called the customer care about the solution and they said that your complaint has been cancelled. when i asked the reason, they said you was not available when the executive arrived for visit.

Its been 15 days from that day and I have called several times the customer care executive regarding the same and the response I get is that you will have to take that set top box which our executives are providing. We can not arrange the same model set top box you are using and we can't even say that, when that will be available for you.

Now please tell me is this of some kind of Joke or the executives makes fool of customers. When I have an identified set top box and you are taking charges from me to repair that one, then why don't you provide the same product to the customer.

I mean why I will take another product in replacement.

and the worst thing I faced with your customer care executives that when i asked them with the process of shutting down the connection and the calculation of the fund that company can provide me if I return all the equipment I have from videocon (2 Set Top Box and 1 Antenna). The response from one of executive was that company do not provide any money in return and if you want to quit your connection they you have to raise a request then our team will call you within 7 days to confirm it from you.

and Guess what as I disconnected the call. after about half an hour

MY CONNECTION WAS CLOSED!!!

without even any confirmation from my end.

Is it what a customer service videocon d2h guys call.

This is totally bull. I mean if they want to show anger and arrogance, then show it in their work not to the customer. I pay to the service and I need full satisfaction for what I pay.

My monthly pack from last 2 weeks is getting wasted at all.

Please Provide me a proper solution for this. I want the same Set Top Box (Model Number 1111-U) for the replacement and the money for the data pack of last 2 weeks, which is being wasted by videocon d2h customer care executive as they are not providing the solution to my issue and just neglecting the solution which is fair.

I am totally frustrated with the service you guys providing.
