Videocon D2H — Fraud by Videocon -I am being cheated of 4 months free service that was promised with 2 years (Bi-annual) subscription

My customer ID is 96325869. I am a customer from Guwahati who had installed Videocon D2H on 31.05.2013 and bought basic package subscription of 2 years by paying Rs.7320. I was persuaded by the salesman to buy the subscription as it offered 4 months of bonus service after the scheduled 2 years was over. That means I am supposed to avail of service till September 30th 2015 (30.7.2015). BUT ON 13.5.2015 MY SERVICE IS SUDDENLY TERMINATED!!! After repeated calls to a very non-cooperative customer care I am callously told that my service will be no longer provided and I have to renew my subscription. As reason, I was told that 4 additional sports channels had been added at Rs.60 tariff each and hence my free months have been deducted. First of all, how can videocon add 4 channels and deduct my subscription fees WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!?? This is the most unethical and fraud behaviour I have come across. Secondly, I was informed that the rate of the basic package had increased to Rs. 220 from Rs.200 in between these 2 years and so more amount has been deducted. Infact I did not even get the full 2 years of service that I paid for let alone my free months which was offered. How can a service provider claim that the rates have been increased and deduct subscription without even informing the customer. Also what is the point of subscribing for 2 years if the rates keep increasing in between and the customer has to pay the penalty for it!!! How can the service provider deduct money for channels which it added without permission of the customer. THIS IS COMPLETE FRAUD AND CHEATING. The customer care personnel just kept repeating this ridiculous reasons and is forcing me to take back my complaint. But I will not leave this. It is not about money but the complete lack of honesty and transparency by VIDEOCON d2h that is so troubling. Unless my subscription conditions are fulfilled I will keep complaining. I will also go to the national consumer court and lodge a complaint unless corrective action is taken.
