My customer ID is 96325869. With reference to my earlier complaint, of not receiving four months of Videocon D2H service that was offered at the time the time of my bi-annual subscription, I am sorry to say that the sloppy method with which VIDEOCON have tackled my complaint has left me flabbergasted.
After my former complaint, I got a call from VIDEOCON executives who informed that my service will be renewed, and I will get half of the bonus service, which is 2 months instead of the 4 months which is legally due.
Though I should never have agreed to this and should have demanded the full offer, I agreed, as I did not want to continue this dismal affair. I even got a message on my phone about the renewal and also on my Videocon service. I have valid copies of both this messages as proof. According to this messages I am supposed to be getting Videocon D2H till 27.07.2015.
After just a day after service was restored, my service was again disconnected abruptly on 23.05.2015. Nobody from Videocon D2H team bothered to call or contact me to inform why I was again disconnected. After I made a few calls myself, I was curtly informed that the earlier decision has been 'revoked'!!! NO OTHER EXPLANATION WAS GIVEN INSPITE OF MY REPEATED QUESTIONS TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE!
I am shocked at the way VIDEOCON D2H is treating honest customers like me who had bought a full 2 years of subscription which came with the offer (given in print) of 4 months of "bonus" months. Add to that the shoddy way my complaint is being handled !
I don't think Videocon left me any option but to seek legal counsel. Was this information helpful? |
