During the last service of Videocon d2h HD set top box, a month back, the technician took almost 2 hrs and still could only get half the channels to work. Midway he asked for change of a part for which he charged 250 extra and then after replacing the part and several attempts to configure, only few channels started working with only India News channel working in whole news category. None of movie channels working, 2-3 music channels only working even with MaxiGold pack. On telling him why is he not able to get all channels he was very unsure and said...maybe ur set top box needs to be replaced hence to write to company and they will charge and send you a replacement. On hearing the unsure tone and charges involved of replacement...I have not written so far bcoz he himself was not confident if box really needs replacement. But now, I want to voice this as I feel, why should a customer suffer if the technician is not able to fix complete faults during his visit while charging full amount for it. Company should atleast ensure fixing of issues during such visits and I am not even sure if the part was at all replaced for which I was charged extra since the damaged part was not shown or returned to me. A redressal needs to be done by Videocon.

videocon d2h is simply worst. dont go for this product.
Their customer service is the 'SIMPLY WORST'.

I alreay wrote to their customer service . But new cusomers 'DONT GO FOR VIDEOCON'
Since last one week my set top box is not working and when i call to technician than he said that sir your set of box will be replaced and the set of box is not received good quality right now.so Waite for some time.the service is not good.
I am using videocon d2h since last 8+ years and I just want to switch my connection. Their customer service is pathetic and they just need money for everything. It is hard to find an executive on customer care numbers. They take forever to reply to emails and the kind of reply they do is not at all helpful.

I am really regretting the full year recharge now because they say they don't have policy to refund customer's money even if the service is not in use.

In my opinion, don't buy it!
D2H service very bad, not any customer representative support. and not support D2H App, Login issue its very worst service provided by Videocon.
very shameful service. I am quit this using service and said my all family and friends do not purchase Videocon D2H.
They are just cheating to the customers having replacement of the set up Box, I have ask replacement of the set up box as per the instruction of customer care service executive They told us to pay Rs. 450/- at the time of visit of service engineer he has taken Rs.950/- from my parent saying they need to reacharge after 10 days they deduct 500 Rs. from our accounts without intimating to us.

I had called many time to customer care executives and and also tried to call Nobel officer but I have not received any resolution, after couple of week their engineer has called and used a abusive language, It was not also ethical with their services. I have registered FIR against their service engineer as well as service Manager for this also register a complaint against deducted extra charges from my account without intimated to us.

My set top box signal incoming pin got damaged and I complained to d2h their service engineer came and taken 1500 rupees for set top box and remote and service charges they have not provided a single bill .But d2h services told me every thing is free of cost how they are managing their service engineer .It is a very critical questions.
