[Resolved]  Wb Electricity Board — No bill coming to home

I am from Ranaghat, Nadia, WB.Facing issue with Electricity board, doesn't send bills regularly, we had to go to the office and check the bill to pay that. This time it was too much, somehow we missed to chk abt the bill with Elce office for some personal reason, yesterday they came and disconnected the supply. No warning or Notice. I wanted to know if any consumer doesn't pay the bill(that to not receiving the bill), and date gets over, electricity board should send a notice or not? If yes then where is the notice? whose fault is this? If no then who is the responsible for not sending bill to the consumer? Ultimately in both ways consumers are the most suffered. They didn't even listened to the request to get 1 day to pay the bill.they came and cut the connection. within 2 hrs bill was paid but connection was not restored by that day, next day only the came to restore the connection. Full day no electricity, that to in this hot weather. While cutting the connection they assured to restore the connection by the same day if we pay the bill by 1 or 2 hr/s, same was done but no action :( . nxt day only they came and restored. Other sector in india we see some of the improvement, but Electricity board no improvement, still they neglect those customers who doesn't take them to court. It will be helpful at least we get ur bill on time, and b4 they disconnect send notice to those consumers. People can avoid this type of bad situation. We need to raise our voice. Please help if anything can be done.
