Welding Shop — Complaint against an illegal welding shop in residential area

I want to draw your attention to illegal commercial activities being carried out in residential areas 2/3, Bharathiyar Street, Kamatchi amman Nagar, Alapakkam, Vanagaram, Chennai. There is a shop of welding. The owner's name is Mr. Kamalakannan, He used to cut iron with iron cutter and weld all day. They are doing welding and hammering, It is creating a highly noisy and a stressful environment.

My Father has been recovered from Covid19 and my sister also 8 month pregnancy still he can’t sleep because of noise from workshop and also many electrical equipments become fault. They are not even able to sleep and study. Due to his shop, its seems to be impossible to live in peace. All neighbors and people who is living nearby this shop facing lots of problems.

We are afraid of fire accidents still they are using welding without proper safety and license. These machines create lots of irresistible and unbearable Noise Pollution. This shop has made the life hell of neighbors. In this street many senior citizens live near this shop. This shopkeeper doing work all day even sometime last night also. Voice of cutting iron is so irritable that it is impossible to bear it. Due to such noise pollution, the old person & pregnant ladies cant take rest and school-going children would not able to study properly.

We (all the people of this street) have a humble request to you, Please take some strict step towards this matter and do some action. We will be highly obliged to you. We are facing severe problems due to this welding shop. Its create noise and air pollution both. We will be thankful to you.
