Xcel Company — form filling

Ten days before i took over a form filling job online assuming that i will get some real work to do as a part time worker.
A person named swathi a sent me work via email and login details to complete 2500 forms and asked me to submit in ten days.
They sent me an agreement pdf along with the so called work (Saying that it will be real!)
I didn't put my signature into the sent agreement pdf as the website was without any company details and payment details, which made me doubtful about the work, about the company, about the payment after completion of the work.
I noticed that there was no help from the given helpline number, even the portal was showing incorrect answers and because of this i asked to terminate my id and to discontinue with the work.
I got call from a person named bharath from surat. He told i've to pay 5600 amount as penalty.
If i don't pay in 7 days, he told he will raise a notice in court and file a penalty case against me (Which is highly illegal according to me).
There is too much of threatening happening from their side via calls, emails and messages which is irrelevant and fake (Upon investigation).
This is highly troublesome and improper.
Kindly help the needy to get out of this dishonest scheme.
