Myself prajwal shende, pursuing bachelor of management science (Bms) in mumbai university. As of sept 2020, final semester examination of bms is yet to take place due to covid-19 pandemic. After completion of my graduation, i was then planning for pursuing post graduation in canada including placement thereafter.
In order to achieve my dream of pursuing post graduation in canada, in january 2020, i contacted y-axis vashi navi mumbai for admission application services in canadian universities including coaching and student visa processing. Y axis was to provide following stage-wise services:
Stage1: a course recommendation with maximum 5-10 (As per the product) eligible and closely matching universities/institutes.
Stage2: english coaching (Classroom / online classes).
Stage 3: preparation of sop/lor/resume from y-axis. Only one profile per sop/lor/resume provided per service request with 1-2 modified drafts.
Stage 4: processing maximum 3-5 (As per the product) admission applications that client (You) choose to apply for universities or institutes.
Stage 5: visa application for one o[censored]niversity /institute that client decides to proceed.
Job search services deliverables include preparation of strategy report;international resume;linkedin profile;resume marketing service to y-open jobs; resume marketing service to y-zapping;
On 19th and 20th february 2020, i paid collectively rs 90153, vide invoice solution-24735 and solution-24802 for comprehensive services offered by y-axis. And i started interacting with y-axis for scouting suitable university in canada.
Meanwhile, covid pandemic started and my plans of pursuing postgraduation in canada got hazy and unclear due to prevailing unclear scenario about education in canadian university. Due to covid-19 pandemic, i cancelled my plans for postgraduate education in canada. Now, when i am asking for refund, the consultancy is reluctant and misleading me that the agreement is signed.
Deliverables of agreement were not complied due to prevailing pandemic, i am fully justified in getting refund.
This is absolutely unprofessional and unethical on the part of y-axis to deny me refund. It is causing me mental stress and trauma
