Zakasfood — fundamentals are missing

Well there are few tiffin service providers in the area. One among them is this zakasfood.in. Most are non-branded. However zakasfood has tried to create a brand for itself with some practices that others have not shown like

Order over whatsapp
Order over internet
Internet website
Single customer care number
Cashless transactions
Some policies in place i think like if there’s a repeat menu then refund or so

I got impressed and started availing their tiffin
Initially i thought this would be much better than my ‘annapurna mess’ who is non branded, is on very small scale and no standard operating practices. But i was wrong.

Within few days i realized that zakasfood has a very very standard taste. There’s no variation even though the menu changes every day. Also there was delayed delivery of tiffin. Delayed delivery, forgotten delivery and such issues started coming up. Under salad they serve stupid fryams and such oily fried stuff

They are great except that fundamentals are missing. This is what i found in annapurna mess.

I could call them late and still be able to cancel my tiffin if the need be
They would serve first and then ask for money at the end of the month
A lot happened on mutual understanding, without sticking to policies or procedures. A lot flexible that others such tiffin services
Good variation in menu, simple but effective
Sometimes i could call them and ask for a specific menu and they would try to accommodate that in their next possible instance
There’s a personal touch and no smell o[censored]ndue processes and professionalism

Finally i have switched back to annapurna mess
