Zara India — Defected product and no refund

I had bought a Zara track pant from Mumbai a couple of months back and then I was in the U.S. for the last one and half months for a shoot. After the first wash I realized the length of both the sides are different from a very big margin. I returned back last week only. And when I went to the store, first the lady at the counter said 'It's okay sir. You can get it altered from any tailor. I was shocked to hear that from a Zara representative. When I said how could you give me a defected piece, I have paid for the product. Then she asked me to contact the customer care as I don't have the bill anymore. Since last 10 days I have been trying to contact the customer care but no one responds.
