Zee Bangla Club — A serial named Mithijhora

Is Mithijhora even a content worth telecasting to general audience?? This show promotes ABSOLUTE toxicity and society really doesn't need this ### anymore. This show promotes a cheap conception towards love, the institution of marriage, a pure bond of siblings, and also victim blaming. When we women love someone we do it putting faith and trust in that person, not anticipating getting "raped". The character of Nilu here is portrayed as one such character and I have noticed justifications where her very own elder sister "Rai" marries her off to her own boyfriend??????????? Does that even make any sense?? When a parent dies, how can a daughter's first concern be the marriage that's hanging by a loose thread and not her own father??? What was the justification of Rai thinking to NOT share anything about her father's death to ANYONE ELSE of the family? Is she the only family member?? Of course not, no matter even if she is the eldest daughter, what gave her the right to keep her family devoid of the grievance upon receiving news of the mishap, especially her sister Nilu???? Nilu was also the daughter of the same father, why was she FORCED into a marriage without consent with the boyfriend of literally another woman?? And to top it off, love is NOT SO CHEAP that after dating a certain person for a while he/she can just be made to marry someone they looked upon as an elder, as a guardian. Marriage depends on an individual and one person chooses and decides it themselves who to marry, not a third person who decides it, no matter even if that is their own sister!! Then comes the question of siblings. Being a sister myself, what kind of sister FORCES her younger sister to marry her boyfriend? We sisters aren't so cheap minded, if you can't show something positive, just kindly terminate this idiotic show because this makes no sense. As a sister myself, I and my sister are always there for each other, we face everything together, and no forcing someone into a non consensual marriage is NOT sacrifice, stop glorifying it by the name of sacrifice. Rai did no sacrifice, she simply ruined the life of her sister and you all are glorifying it!???? Then comes the question of Sourjya and Nilu! Are men and women SO cheap that they have no absolute aim in life other than to just prove themselves a "happy couple" to make Rai jealous??? And is love and marriage so cheap that trust, faith and even love itself can be traded and forgotten just within a couple of days!??? The elder brother of Rai's family might be handicapped but he has a brain, and his hands are perfectly fine, in this era of ONLINE JOBs and work from home what sense does it make that Rai and his own very wife always demeans him???? Love is NOT SO FUTILE, please get this in your head! Take proper measures or we will be bound to take measures against this nonsense content. This makes no sense that despite everything, Rai (Aratrika Maity) is being portrayed as an all rounder Goddess who can do everything and has no moral stains (and yet she is staying at her sister's in-law's place and doing whatever is Nilu supposed to do, without taking any payment, so what was the point of making Nilu the scapegoat in the marriage hall, what kind of daughter would want to marry after literally her dad's death???) And as a literature student, which course of English covers the whole thing in just 3 months, I would like to know, since we are spending 5 whole years and it still is not enough!! So, either stop this show, bring a better, sensible scriptwriter, and not this toxic, obnoxious, baseless one, or be ready to face the wrath of viewers. Learn the facets of storytelling properly first (a writer here), then make contents, do proper research before airing such toxic nonsense shows. Thank you!
