Zudio — Disrespectful to Customers

Today, I faced a very horrible situation today at Zudio, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad.

I visited there with my friends, we spared more than an hour in selecting the perfect clothes for ourselves. Atlast we went there for billing and there were 2 executives named Miss Jyoti and Miss Gayatri who were billing for me. The bill amount was Rs. 2, 801

I opted for Gpay (UPI) payment mode and The money was debited from my account and was sent to a UPI Id mentioning Zudio’s name in it. I do not want to disclose it here but I have that UPI ID.

Later, the executive asked me to repay the same amount as she said it maybe an error from the server and they have not received it. I repeatedly tried to make them understand that I cannot repay the amount until and unless I am getting the refund. She very rudely, I repeat very rudely said that it happens to many customers…
My Friend said, that We cannot pay again for the thing Until and unless we are getting the refund.
She again very rudely replied leave the product here… collect it after we receive your money…. In reply I said I do not stay nearby and I cannot visit again for the same nor I can leave the product there for which I have paid.

The manager steps in and asked me to send my ID proof with address and my contact detail to their Email Id so that they can contact me if They do not receive the payment, which I completely understand and I did the same… but as soon as I sent it I received a message for the same amount credited to my account and I thought god such a relive…
I said “Ma’am I got the money back, I think I will pay you in Cash now so that it does not happens again with the server error” and I took the money, I paid them and in reply she said “hum to bol hi rhe the aajayega, ap hi nahi maan rhe the”
I replied yes, but mere pass nahi aye tab tak mei apko vapas kaise pay kru.

She said haa haa theek hai hogya n apka kam ab jao ap…
I in reply said that firstly, I’m buying this and not taking it for free you talk with respect to your customers you are an executive here you should know how to talk with customers this us rude.
In reply she said you are also an executive; I said I’m not your executive and neither I’m your friend talk with respect. “Dhang se baat kijiye ap”

She again said hogaya n apka apjaiye ab..

I mean what is this? Is this the way you can treat your customers? I was not expecting such behaviour from ZUDIO. Street vendors shows more respect.

I got so angry that I snatched my money from her hand and left my product there only on her desk

But I was humiliated and I felt very very disrespectful. I truly expected ZUDIO to take required action against this.
