I took act connection in 2018, When I took the connection they gave a router which supports 40mbps.
in 2020/2019 I upgraded the connection to A-1325 plan and which is of 300mbps plan. and they didn't suggest or propose to change the router.
Even when we try to raise request in ACT app. it shows only 3 options to increase the speed. no one is related to according to Act Plan.
There is no option in act plan also which suggests only particular routers work with particular plans.
I was paying 1500rs per month from 3 years and now they are saying you should've upgraded your router when you upgraded your plan. this is not our issue.
no one cared to point out when they are provided some sources they should also suggest the routers best fit.
I really frustrated on ACT to not owning it. as I hardly stay at home or use. If any old people stay at home. they keep on charging 1500 without letting them know they are using the wrong router. until someone raises a request they won't even care about these.
We consumers have to learn networking or help parents or grand parents to check internet speed or raise requests then they will suggest that you should've upgraded that time. Was this information helpful? |
