I have recently moved to nellore, ap. I wanted a broadband connection, so i approached the above firm. They had promptly sent their sales rep to meet me, on the 22nd of august, when he collected the required fees. I received a verification call from actcorp on the 25th and i was told my connection would be installed the same day.

I waited for 3 days and called the sales rep to enquire why my connection hadn't been installed. Then i found that the guy went on leave without processing my connection 4 days before. When i berated him for being irresponsible and threatened to complain, he then got the processing done. I finally got a payment received message on the 28th, 6 days after i actually paid the money.

When i contacted customer care, they said that my installation would be done within 72 hrs from then. That time has passed and installation is yet to be done. I have been contacting customer care daily but they don't provide any proper response. They don't bother to properly listen, and simply give generic responses like we have forwarded the issue to concerned person one person even hung up the phone midway of a conversation when i asked for a timeframe.

These guys don't have a system for complaining for poor service. This is highly unprofessional. Once they collected to fee for the service, they do it at their convenience. The only point of contact is customer care. I am stuck in a dead end.

I have called the customer care today. A lady answered the call and told me clearly that installation takes place as per ' Feasibility', whatever that means, and in no case before 5-6 days. After some pestering from my side, she made some enquires and informed me that the junction box had been installed many days ago but they couldn't secure the power supply required to run it and told me if I could arrange for the same, installation will be done immedeatly.

I was put off by this lack of professionalism. First, securing power is their responsibility and part of their job. Second, when they encountered problem in installation, they should have informed me. Instead, they have just chosen to sit tight. I have been calling customer care for the last week twice everyday and nobody informed me of this issue. Don't know if it is incompetence or indifference on their part

Called the customer care today again. A lady by the name Monica has answered the call. She said connection can be provided only if I allow their junction box to be installed at my apartment and no refund will be provided if I don't.

When I protested saying that Act had failed to provide me connection and kept quiet for 12 days, she asked me if i was EDUCATED. Their form clearly has a no refund rule. Therefore I won't be refunded any amount. I now have to talk to the Apartment in-charge, get permission for ACT to install Junction box and get my connection or else forfeit Rs 1245.

Actcorp has mailed me an invoice yesterday for 'Installation', which has never happened. This is clearly a lame attempt at countering any claim for refund in the event they couldn't provide the condition.

Their terms and conditions state that refund will be made only if connection can't be provided due to non feasibility.
