Dear Ahmedabad Traffic Police Team,
Happy to pay fine with dignity however I am truly disappointed to see and experience very selective approach with common man. Common man vehicle can be towed but at the same time system/police never bother about auto rikshaws, unauthorized hawkers who rules over more than 50% of area allocated as a road to drive. It's truly injustice in the name of Police or duties. Had option to pay bribe or fine and honestly choose to pay fines but this hard earn money is going waste because harmful approach is selectively penalizing only 2 wheelers and letting auto rikshaws and illegal hawkers off the hooks. You name one cross road or junctions; I guarantee nothing is organized. We truly feels like we still live in stone age and no wonder why we are far far behind standard or modern safety. Ashamed of system from citizen points of view. Have the honest survey/feedbacks done and I am sure you will be enlighten / shocked to see the reality. Put your hands on heart and soul and ask yourself if you are delivering even 10% or 20% of what is expected from traffic police to delivered !! Let the rules be common for all. Be encouraged to fine even others also including auto rikshaws, illegible Panwala or hawkers. It's a food for thought that why don't you do any action against them !
