[Resolved]  Amazon India — Amazon is not accepting the return of my product

I bought Iso Solid Wall Mounted Pull up / Chin up Bar on 28th Nov 2015 for 2499/- and i received it on time as promised i have no complaints about that. The problem is i can't fix it on my wall so i called up customer service for the return request and it was with in the return period. I was told by that rep that it can be returned for the refund. I was sent an email with the contact number of the seller which is [protected](Arun) because they said its a seller fulfilled product. I have contacted him to schedule a pick up, he was very polite and all but the thing is he wanted me to drop the drop the package at his place because he doesn't have any other person available for the pick up, he agreed to pay for the auto fare. Unfortunately the place where i live is bit far from that location to where he wanted to drop the package.I said i cant, to which he agreed to send someone the next day for the pick up. Never did that next day came and never he called me. I had to call him every time about the status of the pick up to which every time i get a reply saying he will a pick up the next day. I was really vexed up that's when i called up customer service they said i can return by my own and what ever would be the deliver charges would be refunded, I clearly asked the representative about the weight of the product as the weight was not mentioned and the courier people would ask the weight to which the rep replied it wasn't necessary. I called up DTDC to schedule a pickup they were asking weight of the product and the dimensions to calculate the delivery charges. Then i called up amazon again to enquire about the weight and to my surprise this guy was telling me a different story that the delivery charges would not be refunded, i was really annoyed and surprised at the same time. Then he checked with his team after putting me on a long hold, what he said was only 500/- would be refunded as a gift vocher. I did not accept it. Then i called up seller to give it a chance, he said would schedule a pick up the next day, as always the next day never came. I called up amazon again and complained about it. The rep was really helpful she looked up the emails, she also stated that it was the sellers mistake as he wasn't even contacting then she raised this A-Z guarantee program, . She assured me that their back-end team would research and get back to me. Then i have been calling amazon about the status, they kept saying that the research is under process. Then to my surprise i receive an email saying that, "We have closed this claim because the guarantee does not cover the problem that you reported." This is really annoying because none of representative have complete information and the website of Amazon is really shady they show on website something and the representatives they tell something. There is really a big disconnect. Amazon is really not helpful to me. I don't want to keep this package, the representative assured me about the refund and i was told it can be returned. Please help me in this issue.

The package was picked up by some individual from this so called seller..n I finally got my refund...this was repeated calls and emails...I have decided one thing. .henceforth I will never buy anything from this damn website...everything is so shady and nothing is transpaent
