Amazon India — Bad Courier service from Gati Couriers | |||
Hi I am Syed. I had placed an order for LG MJ-3283BCG 32-Litre 900-Watt Convection Microwave Oven (Silver) at Amazon.in, this parcel was given to Gati Courier Services who run a very pathetic website tracking system. After placing the order when I put in the tracking number there was no information on their website. After complaining twice to Amazon.in on chat they started updating the details. Even though I registered my mobile number for SMS updates on the Gati website about my order there was no update from Gati Courier service, I did not receive a single SMS. I was assured by Amazon.in that my package will arrive by 22 April 2016. I got a message on my mobile also that it will be delivered today but neither any courier guy called and the whole day I was anxiously waiting for a call or update but I was kept in the dark. At least if they could not deliver it today i.e 22 April 2016 the courier people should have the basic courtesy to call and update me when I will receive my order. I had many other important works to do which I missed just waiting for this package to arrive. Till now Amazon has given me good service but this time Gati is spoiling the image of Amazon and I hope Amazon becomes more professional and advises its partners or whoever is associated to follow proper guidelines and keep the customer informed and not waste his precious time.
