Amazon India — Complaint Against Amazon India for Failed Deliveries and Misleading Information

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Amazon India regarding two orders I placed on March 27, with the following order IDs:[protected] and[protected]. Both orders were expected to be delivered on March 29, however, they were not received as promised.

Upon contacting Amazon’s customer service, I was informed that the products were damaged in transit. Despite my insistence that two of the products were damaged, they only agreed to replace one of the orders, specifically order ID[protected], which was then scheduled for delivery on March 30. However, the same issue persisted, and the replacement order was not delivered on time.

Upon contacting customer service again, I was informed that the issue was due to the seller, contradicting their earlier statement about transit damage. This inconsistency in their explanations is deeply concerning and indicates a lack of accountability on Amazon’s part.

Furthermore, after spending two hours on the phone with their customer service representatives, they now claim that the non-delivery was due to a wrong pin code,

As a loyal Amazon Prime customer, I find this level of service completely unacceptable. Not only did Amazon fail to deliver on their promised dates, but they also provided misleading information and failed to take responsibility for the issue at hand.

I demand immediate action to rectify this situation. Amazon’s proposed solution of initiating a refund within 48 hours is not satisfactory, as it implies further delays in the resolution process. Waiting an additional 7 days for the refunded amount to be credited back to my account before I can place a new order is unacceptable. This not only wastes the customer’s time but also their money.

I demand that Amazon provides a more expedited resolution process, such as providing the refund immediately or offering alternative compensation options to mitigate the inconvenience caused. Additionally, I expect assurances from Amazon that such incidents will not occur in the future.

If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate it further and seek legal recourse through the appropriate channels.
