[Resolved] Amazon India — Pathetic Refund System for Damaged Product Sent by Seller | |||
I purchased a Tyre Inflator along with Car Towing cable and Car Jump Start cable on August 8th. All of them were sent together in a plastic packet with NO Bubble Wrap or air bad and hence the tyre inflator (Delicage item with glass fitting)got damaged.I found the damage on unpacking.I raised return within 30 mins of receiving the item.The Amazon seller cancelled the request without even checking. Then I had to send Picture proof and still call multiple times to get the return request being Accepted. But this doesn't fixes the problem.Now they didn't get it picked up, told me to send it.On disagreeing for the same, they arranged a paid pick up saying they will refund the charges later.But the pick up still didn't happen and the month ended. Im struggling to get the Damaged product returned for over 3 weeks. This is the kind of service being provided to me by Amazon the American company. Please help me out of this Pathetic situation. Sep 30, 2015 Complaint marked as Resolved I had to send the product to the seller and send the proof of amount spent for courier charge to amazon. They sent me a cheque of that amount. Then after poking them 2-3 times on email they provided me refund after 7-10 days. Total time taken for them to resolve the issue is 4-5 weeks although I reported the issue within 20 mins of the product delivery. | |||
