Amazon India — Refund for order[protected] | |||||
Hi, I had purchased a back case cover for asus zenfone max from amazon with order id[protected] on 21st January 2016. This was seller(amazon registered) fulfilled order. The package was estimated to be delivered on 2nd Feb and then the estimated date of delivery was delayed to 04th Feb 2016. Even after numerous follow ups when the package was not delivered I chose to cancel it on 12th February 2016. And till date I have not received the refund. Seller claims that he has not received the package back and amazon has failed to give transit status of the same. Seller has refused to refund until he receives the package back and amazon is unable to provide the transit status and ETA for return. It is apparent that amazon transportation services has lost the package on account of which it failed to deliver the package to me or return it back to the seller. However Amazon is showing no progress in addressing the issue and everytime I call they ask me to wait for 10 more days and all that seller has to say is that he will not initiate a refund until he receives the package back and in case amazon has lost the package it will fail to return the same to seller which makes me doubtful about my refund.
